bellville wins 8-1. game was not really that close. bellville/giddings
next. should be a classic matchup. giddings was ranked # 1 in
some pools earlier in the year. they have some big sticks, and
also beat bellville twice during the regular season. comments...

Bellville didn't really pound the ball on us today - they just poked it all over the field!:eek:

BC's 1-4 batters have been all over the bases all year, against 4A teams as well as 3A teams, but Bellville (LL) did a great job of keeping them off-balance for 3 games! No excuses from me on the outcome of the series...

2) You can't be scared of messing up
3) You HAVE to execute

that is what is all about in the playoffs. putting the ball in play and
execution. the team making the least amount of mistakes will win.
any team in the top 25 can win state. it is who gets hot in the
last part of the season.
congrats to bridge city on a good season. they played their hearts
out, and left it on the field. they will be back strong next season.
