There was some terrible weather last night west of here (Wichita) in a little town called Greensburg (amongst other places) last night. From what I understand Greensburg is a town of about 1800 and there isn't a livable structure left in the town. The tornado was guessed to be a mile wide. The picture I've included was taken at night. The back lighting is from a lightning strike. There were some deaths, but so far not too many, which is a miracle in itself.

There's a lot of people in Kansas who could definitely use your prayers today.

:( My prayers are extended to the city.

The dollhouse, china & wedding dress that made it through unscathed with the house in ruins are just amazing.

my wife and i sat on a hill and watched the Tornando outside of Arnett OK. A Part of that storm spun off and headed north, that is the storm that hit Kansas

The tornadoes are happening again tonight as I type. I hear one town that got hit yesterday got hit again today (not Greensburg).

There was a couple and their young child who survived this tornado...they had just move to Greensburg last week. They both were to start new jobs in Greensburg on Monday. They said one week in Kansas was enough for them...they have headed back to Arkansas. They are alive, but basically they moved all their belongings to Kansas to just get blown to smithereens!

wow... obviously this was rated EF5. That is just incredibly sad to see a whole town just left in ruins like that.
