It is on at 11:30 P.M. on TCM. This is a great 1965 movie with great drama and suspense.
Sidney Portier is a college volunteer worker at a suicide crisis prevention center and Ann Bancroft is the wife and mother who has decided to end her life but does give the center a call. Portier works to keep her on the phone so the call can be traced and they can save her life. Telly Savales is Portier's supervisor and he is good in it. Steve Hill is Bancroft's husband. Edward Ashner is Detective Ridley, Ingus Arthur is Marian - another employee at the center, and Dabney Coleman is Charlie.
This is a great movie and takes place in Seattle and some great photography of the city is included in the movie. Too bad it was filmed in black and white though.
