Reportedly Jason Richardson was involved in some sort of altercation (shoving) with a fan as he was being escorted out. Tape of the altercation has been sent in for the league to review. Suspension?

Is he really worth suspending?

I don't know, I just wasn't sure if he was really that big of a threat to the Mavs...but then again all 8 guys who have played against the Mavs have been a threat. So suspend suspend suspend!!!

on his way to the locker room... appearent lyhe was walking, and if you watched last night, he threw his hands back, in a "im not touching" fashion above his head, and a cop stepped in... so no... don't suspend him. kick the fan out and ban them from games for a year...

the throwing back the hands deal like he did nothing wrong is a natural reaction to many of our kids when they've done something stupid!!

Is this all part of the "NBA is fixed" conspiracies? I mean, really was there ever a doubt that the Mavs wouldn't win last nights game?? LOL. :D

I don't understand.......best player, worst player, if he did something to warrant being suspended, it shouldn't matter what his "worth" is, IMO!!

thats the thing, if you watched last night... he was walking to the locker room, and making his way there... got stopped and threw his hands back, the camera's never left him as he made his way to the tunnel... there should be no talk of suspension, unless its from some over-zealous "punish the thug" idiots...

My question would be: Why is there a fan in the walkway from the court to the locker rooms?

he had to make his way through the tunnel right next to the crowd... the fans were everywhere... it goes right in front of the dallas bench, and then next to some fans as he turns into the tunnel...

the fan seats extend way beyond the Dallas bench and right up to the tunnel. Personally, I wouldn't pay what they pay to have most of my view blocked out by 6'8" thump thumpers

I DID watch last night...thank you!!

My point had nothing to do with him really...I was just stating that, IMO, it shouldn't matter what kind of player you are, if you do something suspension worthy you should be suspended, no matter if you are first string or bench warmer.

I was just addressing what Nate said, not the incident that caused it.

The reported incident was NOT after the game..from ESPN

• NBA observers in the building interviewed multiple spectators after the game about an alleged tangle between Golden State's Jason Richardson and a Mavs fan sitting across from the Dallas bench. Richardson fell after a shot and tempers appeared to flare when the Warriors' swingman felt he was being impeded as he tried to get up to rejoin the game. Because the Mavs' fan filed a report with NBA security, league officials are expected to review the incident.
