Mavs are gonna take this one in a blowout. Dirk is going to come out on fire and lead his team like he should have the first 4 games. One game at a time from here on out. Go Mavs.

Dirk is due a 50 point game. He should realize that he will never be taken seriously again as an elite player if he blows and they lose tonight.

I would be just fine with a 1 point win caused by a technical with .1 seconds left after a 3 is made with an and 1

I think Dallas wins this one and gets knocked out of the playoffs in Game 6. I'd really like to see another game out in Oakland. I believe Kep said it yesterday that he wanted to see those Warrior fans again in this series and so do I. It's phenomenal how loud and how much of a lift they give to the Warriors. I'm sure Dallas would love to have some rowdy people like that at the ADD tonight!

Wasting a timeout after TWO straight baskets...Good grief let your guys play through it. You aren't on the road. You've got your home fans in a frenzy. Just let them play through this tough stretch. God forbid Golden State make a game of this because Dallas might be out of timeouts midway through the 3rd!

So Dallas goes for the knockout blow in the 1st quarter, but Golden State withstands it and is now hanging around down by 7. Amazing...If Howard has another crappy 2nd half the Mavs are done after tonight.

Adidas410s
05-01-2007, 10:05 PM
in case you haven't noticed...Howard usually doesn't have big 2nd half numbers. He scores a lot in the first half but becomes their #1 defender in the 2nd half...usually guarding the top player for the opponent.q

It happens.

Dirk is attacking the rim a little bit more than in the first 4 games. This is what you want to see if you are a Mavs fan. If the Warriors and Dallas both play their best games, Dallas wins bottom line.

That's a possibility! Even if the Mavs win tonight, the Warriors are a very confident team. Trailing by 21 on the road and coming back to make a close game gives GS a major mental boost.

Dallas hasn't played well the second half, but I'm sick and tired of the whiners on the Warriors team. EVERY SINGLE TIME their stars are called for a foul, they go to the ref and whine and complain and disagree. Even when it's an obvious mugging!

They've obviously outplayed Dallas in this series, but they aren't much of a team. They're more like a bunch of guys that play street ball on Saturday.

why does Dallas have to play all home games at 9 pm which is late local time but normal west coast time?
it seems to me that this is an advantage for GS

False! There's three teams that really stand out above the crowd. The God forsaken wasteland team...The team up here in Dallas and the won't win another championship in my lifetime Knicks. All bring unique whining abilities to the table that other teams have a hard time matching on a nightly basis. It's really hard to come up with a clear cut number one from among those three!

Replay shows Jackson geting tossed was a mistake. Clapping must be worse than complaining.

This all started with Tim Duncan and that one official. That clapping must really offend those officials.

I don't think the clapping really has anything to do with Duncan. It has to do with Baron Davis getting tossed earlier in the series for not stopping clapping when he was told to.

Jackson is not the sharpest crayon in the box... he realized the game was over and wanted to "clap" the lights out... thought they were "clap on/clap offs"...

just a misunderstanding...

Does clapping now mean the opposite of what it used to be? Like the word bad? I noticed players clap when they miss free throws. They also clap when they make free throws. Maybe clapping is the new way to shoot the finger.

When I play the Mavericks by myself, I won't clap, laugh or smile. If I get thrown out, it would be a forfeit. :D

I could tell a real funny joke or do an amazing trick, get all the Mavs to clap and laugh and the refs would throw all of them out.

I mean but c'mon... 1 on 5... I mean the guy doesn't need that much help as it is, but there has to be some sort of rule where you get to atleast come back once, right?

Bull's-Eye would set all sorts of records...

like, every time he scored (about 57 times in the game), I think they'd give him the assist for it as well...?

If I did put up 57, I would be criticized for not passing the ball (just like Kobe).

It's being reported that a fan notified the league's security people that Richardson shoved him after the game while leaving the court. I have a feeling that either Jackson or Richardson (if not both) will be suspended for Game 6.

If they have no proof on the altercation I dont think there is anything they can do. Taking a fan's word especially a fan of the other team would be a mistake IMO

if it happened they will have proof. I believe the league requires teams to have exits filmed for reasons just like this...not necessarily to convict players but defend them from false allegations....

ESPN radio was reporting that tapes have been sent to the league office for review...so evidently there is something on tape.
