the Mavs were not overrated - they earned their #1 seed, I dont think there is a valid argument against that. if there is I havent heard it yet ...........

BUT, what has happened is really simple ..... the Mavs have not played well, and they just so happened to go against a team that is incredibly hot (for the past month) that they do not match up well against.

make that two...i have had this pic down here for a while...and i made a post once the playoffs started....and BTW Carter i would much rather have a match up with golden state than dallas. Houston can put battier on davis and t mac on richarson hays on jackson rafer on ellis and stick yao on there sorry center. thats what houston has that dallas does not and thats a real inside threat and should be too much for golden state. all of that being said dallas is still not out and they WILL make a series out of it

I think for the Mavs to win ( and I'm a rocket fan ) dirk has to step up his game 1. he need to attack the paint more then he gets to the line more you are not going to the foul line much
just shooting jumpers . As a 7 footer he really need to be closer to the basket. 2. The Mavs are not good at playing GS style of ball
they are caught up in it. 3. RELAX and play with confidence. JMO:thinking:
