when i graduated college and started work, i had a $330/mth new truck payment, a $200/mth garage apt. payment, car insurance on a $6.50/hr. wage. needless to say i lived (literally) off ramen noodles. sometimes 2 meals per day. i can now afford a bit more than Ramen and vow never to touch the stuff again. it makes me want to vomit at the smell of it anyway.

microwave the water for 5 minutes in bowl.

place ramen in boiling water

put phonebook on top of it

softest ramen ever, and no need to drain if you did it right, there will be no water left.

cheap pasta if you add ragu sause, then some mozzarella cheese. its great :)

OMG! We do the same thing.

I stack a mountain of stuff on top of my cup to get the noodles as soft as possible. Not to mention I let them sit like that for at least 20 minutes.

People just don't know what they are missing.
