A great univerisity like UT not having a men and women's gymnastic team! Shame! This is a culture sport that is much needed at UT.

The Sinton GodFather feels it is more important for UT to have this sport than a men's soccer team!

I have ALWAYS felt the same! I don't understand why UT does not offer gymnastics.

well football can only support so many sports. With Title IX there are alot of sports left out at many universities. There were many school that had to drop Mens baseball to add Womens soccer.

Iowa State may have also had to because they may have needed the women's sports to get to an acceptable graduation rate.

Phil knows I am right. He justt cant stand to face the fact that womens sports are a joke and they cannot financially support themselves.

I wouldnt entirely agree with you on that point. But that is close to being accurate. I really dont see men's lacrosse or curling bringing in much revenue either. Most revenue comes in from Football, not men's sports in general. Football funds the athletic program.

Go it is not just for the sport sake but it is the culture and high intellect that is behind the sport. Awesome indeed.
