Texans Getting Linemen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Studdard from UT
Overall: Studdard, whose father played at Texas and spent 10 seasons in the NFL, arrived at Austin in 2002 and was redshirted. In 2003, he appeared in seven games as a backup guard. Studdard became a starter in 2004 at left guard for each of Texas' 12 games. In 2005, he once again started every game (13) as a member of the nation's top scoring offense (50.2 points per game). He started all 13 games at left guard as a senior in 2006, when he was named first-team All-Big 12 by the AP and the league's coaches.
Studdard is a classic overachiever. He isn't explosive and he is a better run blocker than he is a pass blocker. He is very much limited in terms of his overall athleticism and range. However, he has adequate size and strength, and what impresses us the most is that he's a fighter
