Anyone have a score?? Hippos/Missouri Tiger signee Elroy Urbina was supposed to make his 1st start of the year. He has been injured the entire year and Hutto still went 18-4 without him!!! Stay healthy Elroy!!!

Elroy pitched a little. We used several pitchers to get them work.

La Grange won the scrimmage 1-0. It was a fun trip out there...very laid back and fast game. As usual the La Grange folk were very hospitible. Good luck to them against Sweeny.

Jeremy Kerley and Howard Limuel were in Humble at the Regionals for track and field. Also, our left fielder and leadoff hitter Drew Carson didn't start due to a sore arm which he was resting.

Jeremy ended up winning the regionals in the triple jump and the long jump.

Congrats!

stupid question but do those warmup games count on your record?

Nah, it was just a glorified scrimmage.

Both teams were playing everyone on their rosters to get ready for the playoffs.

Yes, the game does count on the season records. You can't play a scrimmage after your first non-district game. Everything after that does count on your record.

yeah see thats why i asked. Cause i know in basketball they have put a warmup game as a win or loss for a team. I could be wrong tho. Thats why i asked if its the same with baseball
