Forney came to PP and got beat again 47-6. They tried one more time in 1985 and lost 31-13. The two teams have not played since. Please don't send me any Forney Hate Mail I am a HUGE Forney Fan. :D

Most Points Scored Against PP in a game: Bridgeport 46-35 2003
Most Points Scored By PP in a game: Bells 68-0 1999

Bridgeport, Electra, and Lorena are the only 3 schools that have played PP more than once and have a winning record against us.

There is not a team on the planet that has played us more than 3 times and has a winning record against us.

1980's Highest Winning Percentage in a Decade by any team EVER! 116-12-5 Odessa Permian was second with 118-14-6 eek!

Bridge City shouldn't take too much work. They didnt play a postseason game from 1969 to 2000. :D

We are holding our on with 11 wins last year in 3A, only loses were to Newton and Jasper who were rated #1 on some Polls at the time that we played them...And yes we could not win in 4A, being one of the 3 smallest enrollments schools in that classification...The District, in 4A, produced many State Champs and State Finalist, but many had twice the enrollment figures, compared to BC....

But, probably the most storried 4a program to be in the same district with BC(West Orange-Stark)also has one of the smallest enrollemtns in the 4a and isn't much bigger than BC.

Oh, I wanna play "My Team is Better Than Your Team"!!
Can I, huh, can I????? wink wink wink You Bet. All are welcome to play. But this is not "My Team is Better" this is just "Cold Hard Researched Fact". If you wanna spend some hours doing the work, I would love to see your teams 25 year history. wink

Heck, I would love to see Every team in 3A's 25 year history.

Jacket: WO-S for a long time was not a small enrolllment 4A..In recent years they have been on the low end of 4A in enrollment and their spectacular run has wained, because of it...If, or should I say- when they drop into 3A, they will terrorize 3A. They don't do any sports but football, and they give it their all. Right now they are in a huge 4A District.

OC, you are the Jessie Jackson of the 3a Down Low. You're always either playing the enrollment card or the DFW conspiracy card.
WO-S's success has wained? How 'bout a 15-1 run in 2000, being the smallest school in their district?
How 'bout Everman's 16-6 record their last two years in 4a, being one of the smallest in the state in a district with Stephenville, Brownwood, and Cleburne?
How 'bout Stephenville's 4 state championships while being one of the smallest 4a schools in the state?
Get off it! Just because Bridge City couldn't win untill they were a big fish in a small pond doesn't make it the case for other schools.

Jacket: When I speak of a spectacular run, for WO-S, I refer to 1986 WOS 21 McKiney 9 State Champs; 1987 WOS 17 Rockwall 7 State Champs; 1988 WOS Paris 31 WOS finalist 13 State Finalist....WOS school District was not that small in 4A in 1986-1988. Yes, they were very small enrollment in the 2000 season but that was their only Final climb in a 12 year period, losing to Ennis 38-24. Yes, I firmly believe, that the city folks moving to other Schools Districts, had an affect on WOS's fortunes....I can't understand your statements to me, I openly admitted that Bridge City could not compete with the big schools in 4A, PN-G was a good Finalist in 1999, out of that same District, but they had trouble getting out of that stiff District, just like WOS did in 2000..... By the way 750 enrollment, at BC, is not a big fish in 3A, its quite a ways down the enrollment ladder...

Wow, yall really have gotten off of the subject of my Brilliant Thread that took quite a bit of work I might add :D

But since you have spoken about nothing on my thread but enrollment numbers, I will open my mouth and say that 750 in a Leauge of 345 to 899 is a whole lot closer to the top than the bottom. As a matter of fact BC is number 36 out of 207. That is the top 17% for you math flunkies. :D

As a matter of fact Old Card, I think you have encouraged me to do a 25 year history of Bridge City. I will do my homework this weekend and Post Nothing but facts. :p

I really appreciate the motiviation. Thank You. :D

Well!!!!

Isn't that nice to see Bridgeport racking up such an "impressive series record" against PP!

Seriously, that is some really nice work!

I hope we can become the only team to play you four times in that span and beat you all four times. wink

PPHS, why don't you just concentrate on 3A where your team and my team, presently reside...Your mentality resides in the past and not in the present! Will Pilot Point win many this year?.... I really feel sorry for you, you have bostered your low self-esteem on a HS team in 2A and you just can't adjust to the fact that they may be kicked around a bit, in 3A. You are like the orchestra that continue to play and play on the Titanic, not really content, but not knowing how to handle the new situation that you find yourself in- to not have "something" to prop your waining ego upon!

LOL,

Old Cardinal you crack me up. For starters, the orchestra continued to play and enjoy themselves while the rest of the doomed ran around skeered. Second, I will tell you, just like I would tell anyone. When you have done like your little team down there in South Texas has done and won for a couple of years, and you think you have something, it is YOU who are living in the past. But when you have won EVERY year for 25 years....you are simply building on tradition. Tell you what though. If it will hurt your feelings for me to research your teams history for 25 years, I will leave it alone. But feel free to come see me in 23 years if Your town can accomplish half of what my team has done in 25 years. OH and One other thing. I challenge you to find ANY team, in Six Man thru 5A that can come close to the record at the top of this page. When you do, I will be happy to see it.
