I definitely will make it even though I am feeling ill. I don't want to risk passing illnesses on to anyone so I will be watching at the football statdium as best I can. Go Lady Pirates!

I really wanted to say Hi to some of the Odem girls because some of them played soccer with my oldest son a few years ago in a soccer league. They were rough! I was glad they were on my sons' team. :)

Were these all over the fence home runs? If so this is incredible!

Your leg is getting longer Phil.;) Sinton won 8-0 in a full game.
Winning pitcher was Kirsten Shedd (13-2) and losing pitcher was Crystal Garza.

If Phil had thought about it a bit, he would have known. You don't hit homeruns into a 25 mph wind blowing straight in from centerfield. It ALWAYS blows that way at Sinton. The park was laid out that way intentionally.

Actually he gave it away when he said 6 home runs but I played along so that someone would be encouraged to give the real score. There hasn't been a home run hit out that park in six years so I knew there was no way there would be six.

Don't worry phil, they had me going with this too until 66 set the record straight. :)

Actually they never really had me going. Remember I have pointed out that there hadn't been a home run hit over the fence in this park in six years and I knew a little about Odem's hitting powere from statistics and no way they get 6 home runs. Plus we have four of the top ten pitchers in the area as of two weeks ago. :)

Still do, our area best top pitcher suffered a little on era in that 9-5 loss to VM, but all four with ERA under 1.0 and still in the area top 10 all classes. Shedd actually edged Foley by one place in ERA in the last edition of the area bests..
