View Full Version : Jasper vs. Bridge City for district championship

Jasper 10 run ruled Kirbyville 13-2 in 4 1/2 innings on Tuesday.

This sets up the district championship this Friday as Jasper travels to Bridge City. Bridge City is the favorite, but who knows. These two squads met earlier in the year with Jasper winning by a score of 3-2.

Jasper has speed to burn on the basepaths. They run at every opportunity. It is fun to watch. They beat BC in Jasper and had 1 hit doing it. Should be fun.

We know with Jasper's kicking game we can't count on the PAT and a FG! ;)

Guess you could say that Jasper "stole" the game! :D

Against Silsbee, Jasper seemed almost sluggish on the base paths compared to the BC game. Guess the Jasper coach had confidence Jasper could string some hits together. And they did. :)

this game settles first and second place. Silsbee lost tonight to fall into third place tie with Hardin-Jefferson. Tie breaker game on Monday.

Jasper sweeps BC in District. Unbelieveable! :)

Both teams to the playoffs. Jasper as District champion, BC as runnerup.

Silsbee and HJ to play for third.
