As much as I hate to admit it, I think Fran may have this team going in the right direction. I look back at last season as a whole and think they improved by leaps and bounds. They lost their three regular season games by a grand total of six points and won some games I didn't think they would.

Sure, there was some questionable in-game calling, but he did a great job of tailoring the offense to its strengths (running the ball) and staying on the field long enough to give that defense a rest.

I'm kind of nervously optimistic about this season.
