at the regional qualifers in kingsville Raymondville ran the fastest time at 43:3 in the 4x100m

I know the Port Isabel 4x100 relay team won the district title.

4 x 100 Relay 32-3A results
1. Port Isabel, 44.12
2. Rio Hondo, 45.03
3. Progreso, 45.19
4. Hidalgo , 45.69
5. La Feria, 46.03

The Tarpons as a team also won the district title.

And for grins.....

100 Meter Dash
1. Scot McGallicher, Port Isabel 10:66
2. Nolan Nunez, Port Isabel, 10.91

100 Meter Dash sweep! Scot is also going to regionals in the 200m dash. His time was 22.47

Cuero should be competing again this year, running sub 43s, they'll have to get a sub 42 to win state IMO!

i agree KK - without looking it up, I think Cuero ran a 42.87 at District - not sure if that's the best time this year or not.

I am a little confused, as to why it shows San Benito and other higher classifications are listed amoung those in 3A.

now black_magic - Old Green and I were referring to REAL TIMES..... :D :D (seriously, his reply was in reference to Cuero's best time - not anyone else's) but yes, 39.8 OR 40.8 is smoking - ;) they keep up that pace - they'll be running a 37 flat at state :D

footballgal - that was a qualifiers' track meet - didn't split up the teams by classifications, just had the meet for practice etc.... (that's the way I understand anyway)
