Cove clinches first playoff spot since 1976 ... the last time they made it was 1976, 31 yrs ago, when yours truly led the team in hitting, HRs, and RBIs in his senior year.
I also tied a national HS record my senior year, although it was never sent in for verification ... and that was hitting 2 HRs in one inning. It was at Lampasas, and it was the 2nd inning, was a 2 run shot and a grand salami - 6 rbi's in one inning. :D
OK, now back to the present and reality ..........
