defense must have been soft in the start to give up a FG.:) Good win Pirates one more win and force a game for District Title on Saturday.

Could have been worse. Some starters were pulled in the fourth inning and runners were held several times at third base. AP defense was not playing well. Put the ball in play and runs were given in return. Good Luck Pirates in the playoffs!!!

Not really, no errors, just took an inning for the pitcher to warm up.

They also announced over the PA that if Sinton and Mathis both win their last two games there will be a one game playoff on Saturday. They didn't mention what time or where. Guess that won't be decided until it's necessary. Sinton got one of them tonight, don't know how Mathis did.

The Caller Times says Mathis ripped Orange Grove 22-0(5 innings).

With this kind of score, I'm kinda glad I stayed home. So, did they raffle those 2 other tickets for the UT/A&M game? Who won? Anyone know?

It would probably be at a neutral field like in Odem.
