just talked to my parents, they said its 10 miles out(in roscoe) heading towards sweetwater right now, hopefully nobody gets hurt

nws statements have said that it is a large one. luckily there is just the one storm out there right now, but unfortunately it is right on I-20.

also everyone from north central texas thru south Texas needs to be onguard for tomorrow too.

Yeah I just called my parents too and they were heading downstairs under the house.

We are fine right now. Its in roscoe i hear. Its getting ugly outside. Almost black.

None of the Abilene tv stations are saying anything about that.

Did the tornado make it Sweetwather or did it miss/disappear. My wife has family there and I'm just curious.

My mom lives north of Sweetwater and they didn't see any baseball size hail or high winds. Weather guy just said their was a funnel reported near the Jones/Nolan/Taylor conty lines. You might want to call and check on the family because apparently their was some dangerous stuff.

I called my buddy in Roscoe and he said he went outside to get in the storm cellar and that it was really calm and he saw one cloud with a huge funnel just like on the movie Twister. He said it passed by about a mile north of Roscoe. I called my parents too and they said the weather didn't get too bad on their side of town in Sweetwater, so I think it was all good.
