must be nice to have your team mentioned in the same breath as the Warriors, Nets, and Nuggets...Detroit is definitely in some great company :p

Detroit would be lucky to be a 5th seed in the west.

I wouldn't be surprised. They have 2 months of scrimmages before the NBA finals.

Watch out for the Spurs, 2 years ago they lost their first game to the Denver Nuggets and then went on to win the championship. They also love those odd numbered years.

The Spurs and the Mavs just had off nights. They'll back to take care of business.

Just FYI...T Mac has never made it out of the first round of the playoffs.

I don't know that Denver can win three more games, but the Spurs are well past their heyday. Too many old folks out there playing for them. My Lakers had to learn this lesson the hard way and I get the impression San Antone will have to learn in a similar fashion.

I've heard a lot of people say this, but I think Duncan's playing better this year than he did last year, though the decline of Horry and Bowen were noticeable this year.

The Spurs really need to bring in better pivots. I never thought I'd say this, but I kinda miss Rasho Nesterovic.

Who knows, maybe Elson and Oberto just haven't got used to the Spurs yet.

The only really old guys on the Spurs that get quality minutes are Horry and Bowen. You could argue Finley but he still can take over for stretches at times. Parker and Ginobili are in their prime and Duncan is only beginning to show signs of decline. If they retool around those 3 they'll be solid contenders for years to come IMO.
