PS3 Madden ???

My son is playing some friends in a tourney. The team he's having trouble with is the All Time 49'ers. Does anybody know how to stop Jerry Rice or even slow down or stop this team? Which Team is the best to use against them?

If I was playing in a tourny I wouldn't let anyone use any of the specialty teams. I'd play straight up with the '07 rosters myself.

They play wide open anything goes.

I'd take the all time Cowboys and play cover 2, you're gonna get beat some just cheat a safety over toe the side Jerry is on and hope for the best.

you could get crazy and have him double teamed and then have safety/lb help over the top. If the guy he's playing always throws to Rice and doesn't spread the ball around...then take somebody off of a TE, FB, etc and double up with deep help. It's not practical...but it just might work. Also, learning to manually intercept a pass will help out a lot. Learn to do that and it makes the game a lot easier to play.
