Houston has the better record and homecourt advantage, yet Utah is listed as the # 4 seed over Houston's #5.

No matter.
Rockets in 6

I respect Utah and Jerry Sloan they have a really good young team. Williams Boozer and Okur are all strong players. But I think its going to be a lot like the Raptors the team has a great suprise season but runs into a more seasoned playoff opponent and lose the series. T-Mac and Yao will be too much for the young Jazz in my opinion ill agree with Bulls Eye Rockets in 6

If someone could go ahead and tell T-Mac and the Rockets that the series has in fact started, that would be wonderful. They look pretty bad since their 8-0 run to open the game.

Deron Williams is the best player on the court.

Williams positioned for a triple double, but that doesn't matter if his team doesn't win.

The rockets are shooting terrible....yet they are still in this game. We'll see what happens.

GO ROCKETS!!!

McGrady coming to life
Jazz missing layups
Rockets take lead

Buccaneer

DID YOU SEE THAT?

The Jazz had a fast break 3 on nothing and missed the layup. Then they missed the putback. Rockets get the rebound and a long pass gives the Rockets the lead 54-53 1:30 left in the 3rd

McGrady can't miss

This game was VERY, VERY hard on the eyes. A very lackluster and boring opening to the quadruple header to open up the playoffs. Oh well none of these teams that played today will be winning a title this season. Hopefully tomorrow will be much better than this garbage.

Not the greatest shooting performance, but I did notice some very good defense. Houston has the top scoring defensive team in the NBA and will win a lot of low scoring games. Some people just can't appreciate a good defensive game, they love those high scoring games.

Tonight, I took a picture with NBA legend Nate Archibald and the NBA trophy. Spurs and Rockets fans know exactly what it looks like, but for that other Texas team fans, it's the one with the ball on the edge of the cup.

at Mavs/Spurs game 7 last year I saw Lyle Lovette and Michael Irvin around 12 rows up from the Spurs bench... I was 10 rows up in the corner by the Spurs bench... wish I woulda had my better camera then...

Dallas can call MJ and thank him for being born earlier... so they could barely get beat by the Heat in the finals instead of swept by Da Bulls...

Gobbla2001

people act like the Rockets had been going to the finals only to lose to the Bulls with MJ... the Rockets never played the Bulls in the finals...

they were better than any of the teams that were in the NBA those two years, and that's what matters...

Correct...The Purple and Gold's meltdown begins today. Hopefully losing this series might finally lead to Jim Buss taking over Cupcake's job. I'll be cheering for a miracle, but being that that isn't likely the best consolation prize would be seeing the GM shown the door.

go MAVS!

The past is basically what we all have, if we talk about Miami winning last year that's in the past. Can't really talk about the future, because none of us knows which team will win.
