I said I might. They had some on tickets.com at the beginning of the week, but I put off to long and they were gone.

Tickets are wayyy to expensive even at face for upper level.

Anybody have predictions? I'm going 4-1 Stars.

Dallas takes a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.

Vancouver ties it at one early in the second.

Dallas responds just past the midpoint of the game to go 2-1, and tips in another one in the period's final three minutes to take a 3-1 lead to the room.

Vancouver tries to rally in the third, but Turco is perfect. With less than a minute left, Canucks pull Luongo and the Stars score an empty netter.

And if any of that actually happens I'll claim to be a psychic.

It would be nice to see the offense get it going!

Eric Lindros really made his presence felt in game 5 by scrapping around the net. The fact that Morrow scored the game-winner from just outside the crease should tell the team something...I really expect this game to be much more violent around the net.

The Stars are buzzing early! They could easily have a bigger lead already!

Stars miss an opportunity on an early second period power play. They're 1 for 4 on the night.

crzyjournalist03
04-21-2007, 08:15 PM
Luongo saves the day for Vancouver...he absolutely stoned Ott!

crzyjournalist03
04-21-2007, 08:23 PM
Stars dodge a bullet by killing off a Canucks power play, but they're going back short handed...midway through the second now

crzyjournalist03
04-21-2007, 08:28 PM
the second part of my prediction about Vancouver tying it early in the second doesn't come true...still 1-0 Stars with six and a half to play in the second

crzyjournalist03
04-21-2007, 08:39 PM
two periods down! Stars lead 1-0...Turco hasn't allowed a goal in 5 periods!

crzyjournalist03

JEFF HALPERN SCORES!!!!!!

2-0!!!!

I swear in my predictions I almost wrote that Halpern would be the Star of the game...but I thought I had already gone too far.

crzyjournalist03

Stars have not lost a game all year in which they held a two goal lead at any point.

crzyjournalist03
04-21-2007, 09:23 PM
Stars on the PP with 3 and a half to play...they can ice it here.

crzyjournalist03
04-21-2007, 09:25 PM
OH NO!!!! Morrow is in severe pain!

crzyjournalist03
04-21-2007, 09:27 PM
It was a cheap shot to the back of the leg...doesn't look like it will be too bad because it was a swinging stick, but most likely deadened a nerve.

crzyjournalist03
04-21-2007, 09:31 PM
GAME SEVEN IS NECESSARY!!!!! 2-0!!!! SECOND STRAIGHT SHUTOUT FOR TURCO!!!

Emerson1
04-21-2007, 09:39 PM
Should be a great game. Expect alot of fights.

I sure hope Zubov and Morrow are good for game 7.

Emerson1
04-21-2007, 09:44 PM
Doesn't look like Morrow's injury was that bad. The cheap shot just hit the right spot, kind of like getting dead legged.

Anybody want to buy me a plane ticket and fly me to Vancouver on Monday????

I'll be getting post game interviews soon...I'll let you know if anything is said about it, but I doubt they will since teams are always so secretive about injuries in the playoffs.

Morrow will be fine according to Tippett...had a dead leg after getting hit right on the nerve on the back of his leg.

Zubov listed as "questionable with a torso injury"

The Canucks (whatever those are) are questionable as well... it's like they weren't even there tonight, just one goalie...

Canucks coach Allain Vigneault said after the game that in his opinion, only one team was on the ice tonight, and if it wasn't for Luongo, it should have been 5-0 or 6-0.

for sure... the Stars were far more aggressive... I don't see how the Canucks made it to a game 7 honestly... they're done...

Morrow after the game: "I'm hurt; I'm not injured. There's a big difference."

then he gave a the camera man a left to the chin...
