Funk-d-fied, I don't think this game will clinch the district championship. It will clinch at least a co-championship but maybe not the #1 seed. Here's an example:

Ft. Stockton beats Monahans to go to 5-3, Monahans at 4-4. If in the next week, Monahans beats Pecos and Ft. Stockton loses to Presidio, they both are at 5-4 and Monahans gets #1 seed out of 2-3A by virtue of 2-1 head-to-head win (or they play a playoff game--whatever the coaches decided for tie breakers before district). At this point, I believe even Pecos and Presidio still have a chance to get the #1 seed.

Regardless of all of the scenarios, it is a HUGE game tonight because the winner will clinch a playoff spot and will be sitting in the driver's seat.
