Today and tomorrow two points are up for grabs in women's sports. One if women's golf which concludes tomorrow and started yesterday and I am certain the Lady Aggies will get this one as expected since they lead after day 1 and UT is in 11th place. UT's freshmen golfer Shannon Fish (shown below) is doing well individually however. But this won't be enough to give the Lady Horns the point in this sport.

Another point that is available today is women's tennis in Austin starting at 5:30 P.M. The two teams seem to be fairly evenly matched so it should be a close match. I give the edge to the Lady Horns since the game is in Austin but you never know.
Excitement indeed.

Next week 1.5 points are to be battled for in this competition. Next Monday and Tuesday (April 23 and 24) the Men's Big 12 Golf Tournament will be going on in Kansas where one point is on the line. Then on Wednesday (April 25) at College Station 1/2 point will be available in softball. The softball game is scheduled to start at 6:30 P.M. If you are up there go see that softball game between two good teams. If you can't go it will be on CSTV.

The Aggies have got to be very slight favorites to get the point in golf but it should be a great match and close. The Lady Aggies also have to be favored in softball since the game is at College Station but it has the potential to be a good close game if UT is playing at its' best.
