A friend of mine loaned her car to her grandson and it got shot four times in a drive by shooting. My question is: With the car just being shot four times, is it possible to disable it?

You could disable a car with one shot. Hit the radiator.

Or if you have the right type of gun, you can shoot directly into the engine block. A rifle or a higher-magnum pistol would do the job.
