I really think despite what people say about the Spurs, the Rockets are the hottest team in the NBA. With T-Mac and Yao finally clicking i think they will make a good push for it all.

Rockets = clutch city

Mavs = choke city

I have always wondered why they have been called that. Last time the Mavs and Rockets met in the playoffs when it mattered Dallas won by 40, game before that they had a 20-0 run to end the game. Rockets fans living in the 90's, say hi to cowboys fans for me.

Haha I don't know if I'm just tired or what but that made me laugh.

All this talk about the Spurs and the Rockets being better than the Mavs, it cracks me up too. You don't go 66-14, (throw out the first four games and they are 66-10 in their last 76) and not be the best team in the league. Show some respect, yeah they may have choked in the finals last year but it was their first trip and this year will be different.

Haha homers? I think I'm about the same distance from all the teams, hell San Antonio is closer.

Congratulations to the Rockets!! :clap: :clap:

Great game against a team that gave their all, even though they really didn't have anything to play for. I was very disappointed that the Mavericks "paused" key players in their game vs Utah. A meaningless game for Dallas, but most teams wouldn't do that when the game had playoff implications. Give credit to the Suns, they played their hearts out for Utah. With this win, Houston now clinches the first round home-court advantage.

Western Conference player of the week Tracy MacGrady should get some consideration for MVP. Yao Ming missed 32 games and I don't think too many players could of carried this team to this level. T-Mac does a great job of making his teammates better and this season has averaged a career high in assists. Tonight T-Mac scored 39 points, had 11 boards and 9 assists. Phoenix shot lights out, hitting 57% from the field and will be a major force in the playoffs. Dallas is expected to win it all and SA is very capable of winning it all. Which ever team that makes it out of the West, will have to be like Smith Barney and earn it. Rockets will be very tough, especially if Battier, Alston and Head can make their 3's.

All together now.

If you guessed, "NBA Finals ratings will reach a new all-time low," then you guessed correctly.

In a related story, the trophy will once again find a cozy home in San Antonio.

i dont see the rockets winning it this year. i just dont think our guys have the size and strength conditioning to match up with the size and speed of dallas.

We may be jumping a little ahead. Golden State right now is the #8 seed, a team that gives Dallas fits. Dallas hasn't beaten GS in their previous 2 games. Houston will have their hands full with Utah.

Houston does have size, try 7'6" Yao Ming. In his only game vs Dallas, he pretty much had his way. If any team doesn't have the big man, it would be the Mavericks. Phoenix, SA and Houston will all have very good inside players.
