It will be at 9 A.M. on the Encore True Channel. This is a great movie starring Burt Lancaster as an evil columnist, Tony Curtis as his worker who is also an opportunist, and Martin Milner who loves Burt's niece. Milner was later to star in the successful tv series One Adam 12. This movie proved to Hollywood that Tony could act and his career was on the way to the big time. Burt was already established as an actor. This is a great movie.
As an interesting note, Tony and Burt's characters are loosely based on real people. Burt's character is based on the columnist Walter Winchel who also had a radio and newspaper column. I remember he always started off his show with Good Evening Mr. and Mrs. American.
The Tony Curtis character is based on Colonel Tom Parker (the Colonel is honorary - he was not in the army) who managed Elvis Presly and Eddy Arnold.
Indeed a good movie to not be missed.
