Wow! I leave town for a week and look what happens. I wonder if they have the land across the street thing figured out. We cannot start work on the parking lot until that is fix. Can't wait until August get here.

They will move two bleacher parts of our home side to the visitor side. I believe the total sitting is going to be 5500 or 6000. 3000 on the home side. They are getting a new PA system also. Eight speakers I think?:clap:

I know Rockdale needs a new pressbox on the home side. I feel bad for the guy who has been announcing our games for the past 10-15 years. I would go up and help him spot during the 7th, 8th, Frosh, and JV games and it was roasting in there. I think that the people who get to go up there deserve some A/C after waiting this long for it.

It is great what Ingleside is doing. I think in Sinton they should have an extra bleacher for the visitors' side. Our softball press box concession stand wasn't thought out too good. They should have had some bleachers behind home plate with a press box at the top like the baseball field. They could have had the concession stand on one of the sides where they could watch the game.

It's about dang time. The seeting was horrible and there were never enough seats to hold everyone the past couple of seasons.

wasnt the orig. capacity something like 2800? was one of the smallest stadiums in the area if I recall correctly. this is outstanding!

They are working on the 35 Acres across the street from the stadium. The ISD has the adjacent 45 acres that they will trade for the 35 acres but there is some kind of taxes or money issue holding up our new parking area. They also have a home side ticket gate purposed. :)

New bleachers look great! The 35 acres you are talking about...is that directly behind the home side (towards Dupont)? The additional parking will be great. I usually end up having to park past the swimming pool and walk...a long way.;)
