Yep, but just on the kickoff team. I was also on the punt team but we never got to punt.

J.J. will fit into Fran's option gameplan.
Lane is looking svelt and dominating.
Goodson's knee appears to be fine after the Holiday Bowl scare.

I was there. I heard your name on the opening kickoff. :cool:
did Pierre Fluenior play any...last i heard was that he was in and out the hospital last year for reasons i forgot...
I was looking for his name on the roster but i didnt see it. Is he still on the team?

I was there. I was a guest in the box on the 50 yard line. well, we had 2 boxes. Didn't pay too much attention to the game, but made sure there was enough to drink in the fridge. Looks like im gonna have great seats for the season.

From what I understand, unfortunately Pierre F. had to give up football for medical reasons. He is done because of juvenile arthritis complications, etc. Correct me if I am wrong Wharton people...but that is what I was told. Gig 'em.
BBDE - what's up with that facemask? Are you a LB or what? Just messing with you...looks like a DB mask. Come on man - hit somebody! Tell 'Pick you want a football player's mask!
Who looked good &/or bad? Who surprised? Who jumped out on game day? Have we gotten better esp. on defense with athletes? Thanks.

Was in attendence. Was impressed by goodson on 2 plays. Jerrod Johnson had an impressive play. That was about it oh and that interception right before half was impressive. Only 4 plays that stuck out to me. Except
Cody Wallace's huge kickoff return!

Read that Cooper carried the ball 4 times for around 30 yards. How did he look carrying the ball and will he get any carries this season?

well i do remember alittle about hearing in high school he had bad arthritis...he was a good player!!

pierre is no longer playing. i believe that its because of the illness.

Yep, I will always remember making the first tackle of the Maroon and White Game 2007. :D
G$$, as for the facemask, I had a different one, but didn't like it, so I put this one on here, and I don't care for it much either, but when you're only wearing the helmet for 13 days of contact, you don't really bother with it too much. I'll get the one that I want next year and it won't be a big deal.
So somebody tell how the Big Heard did please. I heard that he will probably be starting this year.

He looked pretty good the few times that he ran. He did a lot of blocking at FB and from what i saw he did a really good job with that.

You should have seen the kicks, they were horrible, landing on the 10-15 yard line and low every time.

Gary, I googled you and this is all that came back. No wonder the Avg. was near 30. The white was pretty much playing with 10 guys on the field. 9 if you take out the kicker.
