Sweetwater usually never fairs well at the district meet. Relays does awesome, but we usually only have one or two singles that place in running events, and 0 throwers. Mustangs usually fair better at the regional and state meet since more schools are their and the points get spread around.

It was the 20+ mph winds (and the hand timing) that made it look like this. These times will adjust to 10.5+ after wind and FATA adjustments.

Yeah it was windy that day, but my question is how do you know how high the wind is blowing at the time when you have no wind gauge there at the TRACK? And if I remember correctly it was a cross wind, and not directly at the back in the 100M.

I'm not trying to say that I know what the wind was exactly but speaking more to the general wind conditions that day.

You are right about 1 thing FAT timing will change what the times will look like from regionals on to State, but in Texas when do the wind not blow? In my opinion I think people should stop worrying about the wind, because around here it's going to blow year after year, high schools, colleges ,and even the pros have to run in it,they are all used to it so I think it's time for us to get used to it.
