The Colony girls advance to soccer title game

ROUND ROCK – Katie Dagenais had two goals and an assist to lead The Colony to a 3-0 victory over Wichita Falls Rider on Thursday in the Class 4A girls soccer semifinals at Round Rock ISD Stadium.
The Colony (22-3-4) faces Friendswood (23-3-1) in the 4A final at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Dagenais assisted on Erin Grant's goal on a corner kick for the first score at the 14:29 mark of the first half. She gave The Colony a 2-0 lead heading into halftime when she finished a cross by Chelsea Ross. Dagenais had the second half's only score when she spun around and shot past the goalkeeper from about 15 yards out. Kylie McIntyre had the assist.
