I almost gurantee you it was hand timed. Im not disagreeing with you by any means, I saw him against Wylie this year, very very fast. Just saying theres some wc runners running close to that.

kid at San Antonio Stevens has run in the 9.9's two or three times this year...of course they are all hand-held times. Even though its hand hand that is still fast!! Shawbrey McNeal will go crazy at the State Meet again im sure. He has won the 3a 100 meter title two years in a row now and is working for a third. The Stevens kid is in 5A i believe

the times at the 7-3A meet are FAT. They run on the exact same schedule as the the regional and state meets will be. It is usually a very well ran meet. I didnt get to go this year but hope to make the regional meet.

ok does FAT have the wind adjusted in? I guarantee you that the wind was at least 20mph today in Breckenridge.

a FAT or Fully Automatic Time is a time that the runner runs with a fully automatic timing system. Someone could have a very fast FAT time due to high winds. I didnt read on the thread where it was said the wind was bloing extremely hard

those were the days those were the days. The only problem was the two snyder defenders were overmatched. IT was really good the year we had snydermom and witchywoman. Hot in looks and hot headed for their Tigers.

I hope I can get to go down there this year to watch this race. I'll be pulling for Shawnbrey to get a 3-peat in the 100. I think this will probably be the toughest 100 yet though for him to win if he does pull it out. He definitely will have to fix his starts. He's been a slow starter ever since he got a DQ at a meet a few years back for leaving the blocks early. I'd like to see what kind of time he could post if he could get out of the blocks faster.

I agree, it will be 1 of the most anticipated races of the meet, McNeil has 1 of the best finishes I have seem, so if he could get out of the blocks quicker I'm sure his times would be alot lower.

Skye did look great at the District Meet, better then I have seem him run since the Great Southwest last yr. If he can run at Regionals the same way and carry it to state it should be a nail -biter at the finishline.
