How is the fishing on the grasslands shaping up this year? It's been a few years since I last went pond hopping out there. Mainly due to the lack of water during the drought. It might be time to drag out the ol' jon boat and trolling motor and head south.

Most just got water back in them last week. Most of the smaller ones almost went dry the last two years - will be restocking them late this spring. The bigger ones (Black Creek, Clear lake, Cottonwood) faired better. Water a little muddy right now but fishing should be good shortly.
