You mean as far as winning non-sanctioned (aka club) championships??? I never competed in non-sanctioned sports so that was never an issue for me.

no, as in accomplishments where you could call yourself a national championship in any recognized aspect.

Yes...I can find plenty of things that I am a national champion in when it comes to non-official competitions. For example...there was a tournament on NCAA 2005 that was held at Gamestop in Abilene before the release of NCAA 2006. It was open to anybody that wanted to play...from anywhere in the world. I guess that since I won that tournament that I can now declare myself as the world champion on NCAA 2005. Injured can verify my dominance at that tourney too...

Magnificient job by the Aggies who are to be congratulated. Next year both the men and women's polo team should be highly ranked so Aggie posters let's keep the updates here. I can't watch all the schools for this type of good news.

It is interesting to note that A&M has won 8 men and women's polo intercollegiate national championships in the past 13 years and this is pertinent news indeed.

It needs to be pointed out that A&M has won a national championship in 1939 in football and two national championship in women's softball (in 1983 and 1987 I think).

Great accomplishments indeed.

You should see my posts on Texas' National Championships if you don't believe how much I spread the word there. Winning the polo national championship is very important.
Remember we have and have had some great archery folks from A&M that have done well for the USA in the summer Olympics.
