i was not impressed when i saw him
although, pearland does have an above average defense. To really judge him, I need to see him play an average team

As a HS athlete, he is extremly athletic, yeah, maybe not D1 standout but dang, look at some of that mano y mano

He's got some wiggle. I think he'll be a great kick returner, possibly a third-down-type of guy at TAMU. Would be a 1,500-yard back if he went to an offense like Southern Illinois.'

Wrong - to really judge a player you need to measure him against good competition. Same with baseball in that you want to see the best vs. the best. Bad competition tells you nothing.

McGuffie is an athlete. Outstanding hurdler & high jumper here in Houston 5A. He will play major D1 football & be an asset. Don't count him out.
