i heard columbus lost 5-0 to columbia that puts them with 3 losses in district

we beat Stafford last night in baseball 16-5...our 1st baseman Mathis had 2 homers and one of them was a grand slam....we're now 9-0 in district...also heard that Needville beat Royal 15-0...puts them at 8-1...

well i know they played Monday against Stafford 13-1 to put them at 5-3 in district...which is 4th i think...not to sure how they did last night though...

well they from what i hear are pretty legit...one has 8 homers and the other has like 7 i think...the catcher one has quite an arm on him and isn't afraid to throw behind a runner, even though he was off last night...

Yeah, I saw their stats but have not seen them play this year. Surprised one of the Fort Bend schools has not recruited them (Dulles, Elkins, Clements,...) if they are THAT good. It is just around the corner & those schools are known to recruit (Wardell Starling from Spring years ago to Elkins, won state & national titles, etc.). Must not be all that. Thanks.

yeah we lost 5-0 to columbia. was real close game till umpire threw me out of the game for an inavertant collision at home and then he wouldnt call strikes to show the fans that he was in control.

now now...take your loss and move on. a real man makes no excuses. you guys (and a few other teams) have beaten us fair and square, no excuses made by us.

no no, trust me im not trying to make excuses. i mean look at the score, we couldn't score any runs. so they would have beaten us anyways. plus i was going to be out at home anyways and i wasn't trying to knock the catcher over, i even had my hands up. all i was saying about the umpire was that there were so obvious strikes right down the middle of the next two batters against our pitcher, but the umpire called eight straight balls. that's when i thought it was a little unfair. for an umpire to show his anger like that.

Must have ruled "malicious intent". Poor umpiring if he lost control after that, but I was not there either, so not picking sides.
