Let the sound of the wailing and gnashing of teeth move from College Station about 100 miles west to Austin

I'm sure you'll see a few drunken morons make some bad comments about Durant leaving. I seriously doubt though that you're going to see anything like the bride left at the alter anger that you saw and continue to see from many, many A&M fans towards Coach Gillispie.

Who can blame him? His 1st contract will net him around $15 million plus other endorsements like Nike soon to come (reportedly in the $30-50 million range). He is a terrific talent.

Would have been nice to see him stay for the college game & conference, but oh well. Best of luck with Boston!

has the words BCG is a backstabber.. really come from anybody? if so I havent seen it, I dont think hes a backstabber but hes a non-commiter... He might plan to stay at UK but if he doesnt keep up their winning record or take them deeper.. I dont think they will keep him.. then he starts from the bottom again.

As for Kevin, I think this is a better move for him. It was either go pro or stay at UT one more year.. well whats the point of staying one more year if you arent going to get a degree to fall back on. Its a waste of money and its just dangling hope to the UT fans that "hey maybe this kid wont go pro"

I don't know. We predicted that was going to happen all along. Too much money at risk.

He could've stayed and tried to win a title but the risk is too high.
