I've been seeing commercials w/ Carmelo Anthony in them promoting a sports tool to help teach shooting technique.. what it does is block part of the rim so the shooter has shoot it perfectly to make the shot.. Has anybody seen this used or heard of anybody using it??? if so, how well did it work??

here is a link to the product in case you havn't seen the commercial

hmm the commercial claims its a "revolutionary new tool".. I wish I had one of them when I was younger, maybe it would help my linedrive lazer 3 point shot..

my parents are looking for something to get my cousin for his birthday and he loves basketball so I thought this might be a good idea if it actually works..

I'd rather have the thing that rolls the ball back to you after you shoot.

I remember using something like that when I played basketball. It was just like the perimeter pro, it just snapped onto the goal. Would probably be worth the buy if it is all those things in one though.
