It will not be a recycled old coach, but rather a young up & comer like BCG was. Maybe the guy at Wichita St. or others like that.

Not a good day, but BCG was obviously stalling to sign the new contract & waiting on Kentucky.

Mark Few - Gonzaga
Scott Sutton - ORU (son of Eddie)
Pitt's coach (Ben Howland disciple)
Ronnie Arrow (formerly San Jac & South Alabama, now TAMU CC)
Tim Floyd - USC

others I am sure...

Maybe we can keep BCG, but not looking good.

Would Gonzaga to A&M be a lateral move for Few though???
Sutton would be a nice addition if you can get him to leave the state of Oklahoma.
Defintely agree on Jamie Dixon from Pitt. Again though...is A&M a lateral move?
Tim Floyd isn't going anywhere this offseason. Two words...OJ Mayo.

Here's one to throw out there...Johnny Dawkins, long time Coach K assistant. He has to move on at some point, right? He can go get some quality HC experience and then return to Duke in 8-10 years once Coach K retires. I'm hard pressed to think Duke would take somebody w/o HC experience to coach their program.

Few wouldn't leave the Zags for A&M, its not that big of a job... Ronnie Arrow is the first name that popped into my head... And Tim Floyd, yeah, he has the #1 recruit in the nation coming to town... not going to leave there...

Money must be considered here too. A&M can outbid every school listed except maybe USC (private school). I want a guy with Texas ties too.

A&M bball is no longer a place coaches go to die. Facilities, etc. are 1st class now. Big 12 conference, commitment, $$ available, etc. Have to see...

I couldn't see Mark Few leaving Gonzaga. He genuinely seems to love it there and he's getting in great recruits year in and year out despite playing in the WCC. He just reeled in a really, really good one with Austin Daye. That guy is going to flourish in the Zags system and might be their next All-American.

Doc Sadler, former head coach at UTEP, now at Nebraska. Was an asst for BCG at UTEP. Can recruit Texas, has been at Tech as an asst as well. He is from the Sutton tree.

Few isnt leaving the Zags...didnt he turn down UCLA a couple years back?....and I seriously doubt the USC coach is leaving either....the other ones on that list are possible though the Pitt coach would be extremely difficult for the Aggies to land as well, the other ones seem more realistic...
