Sealy is leading this district, and their are 2 teams they beat ahead of them on the polls?

Yep, you got it. I have even sent him the scores & records a couple of times now.

Sweeny has been way up on it for the longest time.

I guess he saw Bellville beat sealy twice so he could'nt put sealy ahead of Bellville.

Now, don't get nasty. the grin was not for Bellville dropping. I think he's a DA for dropping Bellville.

Is this right? Sweeny softball beats WC & Needville this week, then loses to Stafford? Is that confirmed? Wow if so, what a letdown after a great week.

**EDIT**: I believe Sweeny beat Stafford in softball tonight. That makes more sense! Now 7-3 in district I believe, 1 game off lead (& 1 game from 3rd place too). What a great race for 3 playoff spots.

Baseball scores anyone?

Actually TGCA may have Bellville softball about right. The pitching is fantastic but offense and defense are apparently struggling right now. With 2 district losses it is a surprise they are ranked at all. If Bellville bats come around like Sealy's did then it won't matter what the poll says, if it ever mattered.

I don't think that it really does. How can ONE guy make a judgment about all of the teams in Texas and narrow them down to top 20 without actually seeing them play?

It's fun to look at and laugh about. or bicker.

The bottom 2 teams in this 8 team district are Stafford & Royal. The other 6 are all still in contention for the 3 spots. Very tough & competitive.

not actually the bottom two.

Stafford is 2-8 and Royal is 0-10.

not a good start for the Lady Tigers. we looked like yuck!
The first Columbus game was a pretty good game though until a lead off batter got hit and scored on a lady tiger brain lapse. Wharton game about the same way.
Coach kinda shook things up after those 2 games.:D

Teams that have Royal and Stafford on their schedule will get easy wins.

Sealy has Royal and Stafford and Sweeny And Columbia- So give Sealy gets two easy wins

Could see a three way tie and could make for a mini tournament.

Wharton has Stafford Tuesday-a win will put them at 7-4.

They also play Columbus, Needville and Sweeny
