Lightscribe DVD

Does anyone here use lightscribe? I want to get darker and more detailed images put on the DVD. I downloaded an enhancement off lightscribe.com, but I heard that you can also just burn the image in twice.

Has anyone tried both? I don't want to waste dvd a comparing the two.
