I have an outline of a star on my forearm and used to want to get it filled in, but i'm starting to like the way it looks now.. I also have a 7 tatoo on my back, which was my baseball number and a tribute to my mom who was born on 7-7-61 (6+1=7)..

I believe tattoo's are o.k. as long as they are not too outrageous, and not too big..

I got a few tattoos in my young adolesent stupidity. I would love to have them removed, but that gets expensive. I may have even posed in a picture with my arms crossed in an attempt to make my biceps look bigger too?

this has been a very educational thread... we now have a list of people who do not like tattoos, and Thank God because I was SOOOO worried about y'all would think if I got 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5...

this guy made a choice that will last with him forever, something that is very important to him... I'm not saying it is not right to disagree with him getting a tattoo, but it sure isn't right to come on his thread and throw it in his face like that... it's not like y'all are really nailing him hard or anything, but still, the guy did it, it's done, it's over with, no use coming on this thread to create your list...

make your own threads, I just don't think this should be one of 'em...

(and that is not why he said "what do you think", pretty sure it wasn't "do you think tattoos are good or bad?")

add that to my list of chit I hate...

I am going to get the Chinese charater "honesty" on the inner part of my upper arm. So its not visible unless I lift my arm and so if I want I can hide it or I can show it :)

Just givin you a hard time, and the art work looks good. A word to the wise though, some day you'll be old like me, and they start to fade. Corse you can have em touched up any time.

My son, once again asked me over the weekend, what kind of tattoo I thought he should get....when I responded an invisible one, he then informed me that there are tattoos that are invisible unless under a blacklight. That little piece of information kinda made me think hmmmm... but it wasn't important enough for further thought.:)

I think deep down you know that too but your initial reaction to walk on the other side when passing them isn't right and its those type of steriotypes that keep people from getting jobs, or upper level positions even if they might be more qualified or would do a better job

Heck, my daughter dated a guy for a couple of months who had 7 tattoos and plans for 21 more, including the sleeves.

Of course, I couldn't stand him and it wasn't because of the tats....he was just a big stupid jerk!!

My only problem with tattoos right now is my boys getting their "GIRLFRIENDS" name tattooed on their arms when they can't even talk to them for 5 minutes without getting into an argument.......THAT is pure stupidity, IMO!!!!!

I like Kat and yes I watch Miami Ink sometimes...I personally don't like tatoos...for myself...but if someone else wants them I have no problem..it is their body...for some tatoos have a deep meaning, for others it is their expression of life...me, I have my mouth for expressing :)

There not dots there stars and she got the idea from an Areosmith song. She said there was 18 of them I don't know if thats per side or total. I watch alot of Miami Ink. Kats also one of the best tattoo artist around.

i dont have a problem with it myself, like i said i dont want a tattoo but i love to look at tattoos and have no problem with people getting them and kats tattoos are pretty sweet lookin but i do think she would be a lot hotter w/ out the sleeves myself
