Dice K Impressive in Debut

If Dice K can put out what he did today on the mound for the BoSox, he is very well indeed worth what the Red Sox paid for

7 innings, 10 KOs, 6 hits, 1 walk, and 1 ER

he retired 10 batters in a row during one stretch. He struck out the side in the fourth on 14 pitches.

He is the real deal & has been playing in the 2nd best league in the world. IMO, he will win 15-17 games. Not a surprise at all. Japanese baseball is good, very good (notch below MLB, but they did win the World Baseball Classic last year & he was the MVP).

MLB overall is deeper & better though.
