Barnhill she stares the batter in the face
seconds before she puts 'em in their place
the batter's head hangs low as the crowd begins to shout
cuz it's one, two, three strikes you're out...

i didn't realize they were 5A now. Brenham beat them and Brittany in fnal for 4A state championship in 2005.

Northwest had finished in 3rd place in district that year with Frisco and I can't remember the other team. Brittany and Northwest got hot and beat both the teams that had finished ahead of them in district to qualify for state.

That link didn't lead me to it directly. It just linked me back to the 3A discussion home page but I did find the other thread down the page.

Great accomplishment indeed! She is fortunate to have been able to pitch almost every game since her Freshman year and go deep into the playoffs each year to get the amount of games needed to accomplish this.

She will do very well at the Univ. of Texas:clap:

Sounds like a stud pitcher going to UT.

A&M has one on the way too from the Houston Area. Name is Rhiannon Kliesing from Pearland, pitcher & hitter. Good battles to come for these teams, the way it should be!
