He just updated with images from today's game revealing the same spot under the cap...:thinking:

Something that needs to be noted here...MLB has switched caps this year, with the undersides being black as opposed to traditional grey...that "substance" could have easily been missed for years on a grey bill!

Maybe it's nothing at all and it's just some guy trying to hurt K-Rod's repurtation...but this all make a lot of sense to me!!!

would not surprise me a bit.. I was wondering why the rangers had so much trouble w/ him

plus they had the umpire calling pitches a foot out of the strike zone strikes

He's a Mariners fan so exposing this is a big deal to him as his guys are going to see K-Rod about 18 or 19 times this season. I've read Zumsteg for several years on the website he and his friends run called Ussmariner.com. David Cameron from that blog is the one who gave Felix Hernandez the nickname King Felix long before anyone outside of Everett (The place Hernandez played his short-season rookie ball at.) knew who he was.

I might actually go buy Zumsteg's book. He's a pretty good writer when he isn't trying to talk politics or steroids.
