I am new here...need some help

ok, i'm prolly gonna sound stupid or something but oh well...i'm new on here and to posting on forums and so forth. I've registered and everything, but how do i get an avatar next to my name or picture? does that make sense? i've been told i don't make sense sometimes...lol just wondered if you had to be on here for so long to do that. any advice/help would be appreciated.

Yeah, I think it's 1500 or something before you get an avatar...don't remember...you CAN put images in your tags at the bottom of your posts though!
