When is there ever enough time?
When where the good times that we hope to refer to
when we are older?
The hours are days and the days are weeks on end,
and the weeks don't end at the end of the fiscal
year.....
So where does that leave you and me in the proverbial
race for the time of our life?
And why is it only happiest when we see it in hind
sight? Where we not looking the first time around? or to blind to see it?
Now I'm not apposed to spending my time, to make the
time, to enjoy the time, I have time to enjoy, but the fact remains that there just never seems to be enough time.
Which leads me back to my first point, When is there
ever enough time?
So we come once again to the realization that Life is
a catch-22. It is the joke that nobody gets except the cosmic
stud-muffin in his sarcastic little way.
It is a big circle. Like a wheel that rolls round and
round until you are dizzy with dreams, desires, and hopes.
And once you catch up to one, it doesn't seem like you
made it because you no longer have the desire to achieve something you have already
achieved. And the satisfaction of a job well done
fades. So we grab a hold of a new project for our life, to fill our time, and we can watch as the wheel spins away the life and times of our existence.
So it is the fantasy, and the desire, that we yearn
for, and not the actual act of obtaining the object of that desire.
I desire for the weekend to begin.... again and again
and again, or at least once a week.
