Babe's back

Babe Laufenberg will return to the Cowboys radio booth next season, replacing Charlie Waters.

Waters replaced Laufenberg in 2006 as the analyst alongside Brad Sham.
Laufenberg had been involved in Cowboys radio broadcasts from 1991 to 2005 before retiring to spend more time with his family.

bleck...I've always felt that out of the four sports teams in Dallas, the Cowboys have the worst radio broadcast. I know that a lot of people really enjoy Brad Sham, but he's a little too quirky for me. What really set me off to him was a game two years ago where Jose Cortez hit the game-winning kick for the 'Boys against the Giants.

Sham's call:

"It's Cinco de Mayo in October!"

Charlie Waters was one good defensive back for the Cowboys when he was a player. Such ingratitude! :(

Brad Sham is wonderful at what he does. He is a true professional. Charlie Waters was a great football player and is a great man but he is a HORRIBLE radio color guy!
