And in the winter we would ski behind a jeep (owned by one of the older boys of the 'hood) when it snowed.

People didn't sue because their kid got hurt. Excellent example: When I went to Spain 2 summers ago for a mission trip, we got to spend a lot of time with the kids. They were between like 5 years to about 5th or 6th grade. Well, it was me and 2 other guys in high school and we were wrestling in the pool with like 12 of these kids. They were pretty scrappy mind you. Well, I was doing all I could to not die and grabbed one, slammed him underwater, and he came up and spit out a tooth. No blood, no tears, just handed it to the lifeguard and we kept on wrestling. Oh, had I been here my parents probably would've had to file for bankruptcy.
