lol...i know its not mentioned but this has to be out blame on the students parents...what kind of parents do not tell their kids not to do this my gosh in 30 years these kids are going to be saked so when did u lose ur virginity...ummm 11

Ok...this is one of the schools that is in "the area" that we could possibly live....(although it is one we have previously marked off our list)...This is a rural VERY SMALL school within Union Parish. About 300 students PK-12...55% black/42% white/3% hispanic.

They have had some problems previously...The majority living here are poor with not many social skills...OBVIOUSLY.

The children were unsupervised? :( Sad isn't it Phil...apparently a high school teacher usually supervises at that time...there was a miscommunication because the high school teacher was to be at an assembly with the high school kids due to a death of a high school student the previous weekend at a party...15 yo kid dead...(shooting I think--rival school thing)...the shooting was related to a death from a bad wreck the week before the shooting...a white girl was killed in the wreck in which her black boyfriend was driving...some were wanting manslaughter charges brought up and some were saying it was just because the boy driving was black and the girl killed was white...

Still a lot of segregation down there...in sojme areas.

a FIRST GRADER brought a loaded .38 to school two weeks ago. same school my kindergartener attends. luckily he was caught before school started but still....parenting is a lost art these days.

Social Skills, and Race has nothing to do with SEX, It's on Television, It's in Music, and we face it in our everyday life. When I was growing up, we couldn't even watch a movie that had cursing in it.
